YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy Policy

Updated 24 October 2026

This policy explains how Squash Reboot and this website handle information. The game and website are operated by Omar Shykhkerimov in British Columbia, Canada.

Playing the game

The current game has no user accounts, advertising, in-app purchases, online multiplayer, or developer-operated analytics or crash-reporting service. We do not ask you for a name, email address, contacts, location, camera access or microphone access to play.

Settings on your device

Your robot selection, difficulty, match length, sound preference and whether you have seen the guide are saved locally using the device’s preferences storage. The game does not upload those preferences to us. Device or operating-system backups may include app data under your Apple settings. Removing the app and its data removes its local preferences; restoring a backup may restore them.

Unity and Apple

The game is built with Unity. No Unity Analytics or advertising SDK is installed in the current project, and Unity cloud analytics and cloud diagnostics are disabled. Unity engine-level device statistics are still being checked before the iPhone release. We have not yet verified whether the release binary sends device identifiers or technical information to Unity, so this policy does not claim that the game collects no data. We will update this section with the verified release behaviour before the app launches.

Apple handles App Store downloads and may process diagnostics or usage information according to your device choices and Apple’s policies. See Apple’s Privacy Policy and Unity’s Game Player and App User Privacy Policy.

Visiting this website

The website does not set advertising or analytics cookies, use browser storage, embed third-party video players or load marketing scripts. Cloudflare provides hosting and network security and may process technical request information, such as your IP address, browser details, requested URL and request time, to deliver and protect the site. This is separate from information handled inside the game. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

When you contact us

If you email hello@squashreboot.com, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include. We use that information to reply, investigate problems and handle privacy requests. Our email providers process messages to deliver and store them. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details or other sensitive information.

Sharing, retention and security

We do not sell personal information or use support emails for advertising. Hosting and email service providers may process information on our behalf, including outside Canada. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights. We keep support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the issue, maintain necessary records or meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable safeguards, but no transmission or storage system is completely secure.

Children and families

The game does not require an account or ask players to submit personal information. Parents or guardians should handle support requests for children and avoid including a child’s personal details. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate. The App Store listing will display the game’s assigned age rating when available.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can ask about, request access to, or request correction or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law. You may also withdraw consent where processing depends on it; this may limit our ability to answer a support request. Contact Omar Shykhkerimov, responsible for privacy, at hello@squashreboot.com. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your request. If a concern remains unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or your local privacy regulator.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and show the revised date above. We will provide additional notice or seek consent where required by applicable law.
